In these unusual days, breakfast is more often brunch and dinners are more often at dusk. Nights sometimes end by the fire pit under the twinkle lights. Conversations are more mindful, food more enjoyed. I savor these times as hard as they can be and I'm forever grateful for the slowness of just living right now..
When your favorite hat, your favorite table and favorite view all come into play. Our lovely apothecary is located in an old Victorian house that we recently added a conservatory onto, (among a billion other ongoing home projects). Even when we feel burnt out by it, it's views like this that give me the inspiration to carry on restoring her. This ol' Victorian lady deserves it.
